excerpt: "The project is to carry a Felix Gonzalez Torres piece with me for one year. The Felix Gonzalez Torres piece is “Untitled (Silver Beach),” found at the Art Institute of Chicago. This is one of Torres’ paper stacks... silvery-grey offset print on paper...endless copies. The paper is 50.8 by 66.4 inches (129 cm by 168.7 cm), people are allowed to take pieces of paper from the stack. I transported my sheet like most people do, gingerly rolled up trying not to crinkle or kink the paper...I will carry the piece with me for one year." -- Erin Washington, December 2011
